WinPcap is a third party application library for monitoring IP links. The installation package of MOTE v5.70 and above comes with WinPcap. If WinPcap is not installed, it can be installed separately on its own or via reinstalling MOTE. - HD717 driver crash HD717 driver crashes on entering hibernate and standby mode. Please ensure that both are disabled when using the MOTE. FUTURE CHANGES =============================================== - IP Outstation upgrade facilities. - TCP/IP logging and replay facilities MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS & INSTALLATION =============================================== Minimum Specification (for non Static Mode): - IBM Compatible PC. - Pentium 1800MHz or equivalent - 256 MB RAM - MS Windows 2000, or later versions of Windows. - 50MB free disk space. - CD-ROM drive - At least 1 RS232 COM port - At least 1 standard PCMCIA slot - At least 1 Ethernet network socket - 1024x768 resolution Recommended Specification (for non Static Mode): - Pentium 2000Mhz or equivalent - 512 MB RAM - Windows XP or above - At least 1 standard RS232 COM port - 1280x1024 resolution Minimum Specification for Special Static Mode: - IBM Compatible PC. - Pentium Dual Core 2.66GHz or equivalent - 512 MB RAM - MS Windows XP or above - 50MB free disk space. - CD-ROM drive - At least 1 RS232 COM port - At least 1 standard PCMCIA slot or PCI slot - At least 1 Ethernet network socket - 1024x768 resolution The MOTE installation is designed to upgrade any previous version of the software after and including version 2.00. Earlier versions should be removed manually by deleting the files. LICENSE PROTECTION =============================================== The MOTE software will need to be activated the first time it is started. Activation period will be time limited and will not be renewable following the release of the issued version. DOCUMENTATION =============================================== The MOTE will by default install a reference manual, a quick start guide, a script language guide and an IP Instation - IP Outstation mode guide. All documentation can be accessed from the start menu.
